I have been way into pirates since I was little.  To truly prove my pirate love to the world, from September 7th to October 7th 2012, I put together a different Pirate outfit every day, trying to create as much variety as possible.  The project also included doing various piratey activities, and culminated in hosting a pirate treasure dig booth at The Castro Street Fair.

Here is a little more explanation about why I did the project:

Over the course of The Pirate Project, a friend and I went to a thrift store to put together pirate looks from what we found there, and on Talk Like A Pirate Day (Sept 19th), I went to another friend’s house to come up with pirate outfits pulled from her own wardrobe.  Each of the videos were shot, edited, and posted in a single day as part of the project’s challenge.

And for you diehard Pirate Project fans, here are three video slideshows of all 31 pirate looks, with voiceover explaining where I got my booty from, and what my strategy is for dressing like a pirate.
